ECOWEEK the international non-governmental
non-profit organization which raises awareness for environmental issues,
Climate Change and promotes the principles of Sustainability. Created
in Greece in 2005, ECOWEEK is active in more than 15 countries in Europe
and the Middle East. ECOWEEK is about education, co-operation
and sustainable design, and it is inspired by the Egyptian architect
Hassan Fathy's vision to empower young professionals to benefit
local communities.

ECOWEEK New Nordic Living in Copenhagen in May 13-19 - Successfully
completed!
From 13 - 19 May 2013 ECOWEEK and KEA - Copenhagen School of Design
and Technology, hosted nearly 300 Danish and international students,
young and established professionals - architects, designers, engineers,
landscape architects - for a week of addressing and designing sustainable
solutions to existing problems in Copenhagen in collaboration with the

ECOWEEK 2013 : Sustainable Pilgrimage Route in Azaryia, West
Bank
The ECOWEEK 2013 Workshop project on the sustainable pilgrimage
route through Azaryia, West Bank, leading into Jerusalem, was presented
today at the Jerusalem Symposium on Green & Accessible Pilgrimage.
On the occassion of the presentation, the project received its first
pledge for support by the Military and Hospitalier Order of St. Lazarus
of Jerusalem for the planning and rehabilitation of the Lazarus Square,
leading to the Old City and the Tomb of St. Lazarus. Read
